At the Misrad HaKlita – משרד הקליטה – Ministry of Immigration & Absorption you will meet your personal counselor who will assist you during your first years in Israel.
What You Will Need
- Identification Document
Bring your foreign passport and Teudat Oleh with you.
- Bank Account Details
Bring your stamped Bank Account Authorization form with your account details including verification from the bank that a deposit was made.

- First Meeting at Misrad HaKlita
Your counselor will provide you with a lot of information regarding your rights and benefits.
You will also start to receive the Sal Klita payments and get a voucher for Ulpan.
Together, you will build an absorption plan, which will be customized to your needs.
You will receive expanded Internet access to your online account, such as access to your immigration file for the purpose of checking the expiration date of your rights (using a personal password), issuing of certificates, updating personal details from home, filling out forms and more. If necessary, you will receive information, assistance, accompaniment and advice regarding dealings with authorities and other organizations.
You will be given the opportunity to provide personal feedback on the service as well.
For Those Who Made Aliyah from Within Israel (Shinui Ma’amad or Shinui Status)
If you made or are making Aliyah from within Israel, after receiving your Teudat Zeut number, you need to complete this form before your visit to the Misrad haKlita. Within two weeks of submitting it, you should receive a response regarding the scheduling of your appointment.
