New olim! Thinking about academic studies?
Say hello to “TAKA – Pre-academic Program” for olim for the 2025-2026 academic year.
What exactly is TAKA?
TAKA is a program that opens the door to the academic world in Israel; it includes guidance and professional preparation, an academic reading and writing course, and preparation for the YAEL Hebrew proficiency test.
For whom is the program suitable?
Where and when?
And what about the living allowance?
Students in the TAKA Ashkelon program will receive a monthly subsistence scholarship of 1,000 NIS during the months the program is operating, beginning from when the absorption basket benefit payments end and in line with ministry procedures.
(And this is in addition to tuition funding – paid for by the Israel Student Authority.)
Note! The opening of each program is dependent upon the number of registrants – so don’t wait until the last minute!
