Today, registration for supervised daycare and family daycare opens!

Registration period: February 15, 2026 to March 8, 2026 (28 Shvat – 19 Adar, 5776)

Registration for a daycare center (“ma’on”)

Registration is through the government personal area.
Ensure that you receive confirmation (an “asmachta”).
You may select up to 2 daycare centers (“ma’onot”) and rank them in order of preference.
After submitting the application, it can be edited or removed.

Registration for supervised family daycare (“mishpachton mefukach”)

Registration is carried out with the family daycare coordinators. For details, you can contact the municipality. In some local authorities, you can register on the municipality’s website.

Please note!
After receiving placement approval, you must go to the ma’on or to the mishpachton to complete the registration process.

For your information!

The registration date does not play a role in placement. It must simply take place during the registration period (there is no priority for those who register early).
You can register at the same time for both types of daycare.
A child who did not register during the registration period will be able to register based on available space.
In the event of excess demand, an admissions committee will convene.

Special subsidy for new olim!
Olim who made Aliyah less than two years ago (as of the start of the school year) are eligible for a special subsidy, provided that both parents meet the eligibility conditions: https://go.gov.il/maon-olim
