In winter you’ll enjoy a discount of up to 40% on the cost of passport renewal!
Please note: The discount is valid only for payment through the website or at self-service stations in the Population and Immigration Authority offices. Payment at the clerk’s desk in the office will be charged at full price.
Benefit period (“winter prices”) – From November 1, 2025 until the end of February 2026.
Redeeming the benefit: Until the end of April 2026, provided that payment was made by the end of February. Payment is made on the website: gov.il/passport
Obtaining a first biometric passport: You can obtain your first biometric passport at all Population and Immigration Authority offices. Please note – you must appear in person at the office in order to get a passport issued to you.
New! Remote ID card renewal If during the previous document issuance you agreed to have your fingerprints saved in the database, you can now: • Submit an online request for a biometric ID card. • Renew a passport or ID card also at biometric renewal stations (and not only at the Authority clerk).
Israel currently has 82 renewal stations at 26 branches of the Population and Immigration Authority. The service is available from age 18 and requires scheduling an appointment in advance through Govisit. Appointment availability is much sooner than waiting for an in-person visit. Remember to bring a valid biometric ID card and passport.
Don’t wait until the last minute! Renew now and be ready for summer.
