Anyone who paid the passport renewal fee at the winter rate by the end of February 2026 but has not yet renewed their passport — may still enjoy the discounted rate until Mar 30, 2026

Extension of driver’s licenses
Licenses expiring between Feb 28, 2026 – Mar 26, 2026 will be automatically extended by 30 days

Medical examinations for professional drivers
Medical examinations for professional drivers may be completed up to 30 days after the end of the period, without affecting license validity

Driving refresher course
A refresher course may be completed within an additional 30 days

Tests and administrative proceedings
Deadlines for tests and administrative proceedings scheduled during this period may be completed within an additional 30 days

New drivers
If the “new driver” designation ended during this period – they will not be considered new drivers during the extension
