Make a Real Impact in Israel — Become a Certified Teacher
Are you an English-speaking Oleh (recent, future, or long-established) looking for a meaningful and stable career in Israel? Herzog College, in partnership with the Tzemach David Foundation, offers an incredible opportunity to earn your Israeli Teaching Certificate — in any subject related to your academic background.
Whether you hold a degree in English, science, humanities, or Jewish studies, you can become a certified teacher in as little as one or two years. The program includes fully funded tuition, classroom placements, pedagogical training in Jerusalem or Gush Etzion, and continued support even after you begin teaching.
As a native English speaker, you bring a skill set that is highly valued in Israeli schools — especially in English language instruction — and you’re almost guaranteed employment wherever you live.
Why Herzog?
Herzog is one of Israel’s top teacher-training colleges with a strong academic reputation and a values-based approach. Last year’s pilot cohort included over 40 new Olim, now teaching across the country and shaping the next generation.
If you’re looking for a fulfilling career path that combines job security, national impact, and a supportive community — this is your chance.
Bring your skills. Teach what you love. Make your Aliyah count.
